Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been lined. PAINT SURFACE The painting appears to be in good condition, with no apparent extant damages or loss of paint. The picture does not require any conservation or restoration and is ready for display. ULTRAVIOLET Examination under ultraviolet light reveals retouching, predominantly in the sky, where the paint has been stabilized. There does not appear to be any significant damage to the picture. FRAME Held in a gilded wooden frame.
