- recto and verso: a standing monk with outstretched arm
- Black chalk (recto and verso), framing lines added in pen and brown ink to recto;
bears inscription in pencil, lower right: Empoli, and again on the verso, with a second attribution crossed out

Condition
Window mounted. Recto: The paper has discolored somewhat and there is an area of foxing lower left. In the upper right corner there is a tear that may have been previously repaired. There are three brown stains just below the Monk's arm.
Verso: Considerable amount of foxing and brown staining. There is an area where red watercolor may have accidentally got onto the drawing (just by the arm). The image still remains strong.
Sold in a plain wooden frame.
