Condition
The copper supports of both the paintings are flat and stable. Both pictures have recently been cleaned and restored and are in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals only minimal spot retouchings to some parts of the skies, notably to the upper painting, and to the margins. The varnish layer is clear and even and neither painting will require further attention.
These lots are offered with modern plain giltwood frames with red fabric cloth mounts and beaded sight edge.
