Catalogue Note
This is the first edition of Chopin's Variations on the famous tune from Don Giovanni. The French and English editions by Schlesinger and Wessel only appeared in 1833. Haslinger issued a reprint with a revised title page in 1831 and also a later edition in 1839 with a new plate number.
