Condition
Stable board, there are areas of abrasion visible at all four corners and along the extreme edge in line with a previous framing. There is a larger area of loss in the extreme top left hand corner, measuring less than 2 cm. in length.
There is minor surface dirt to the work, most visible to the raised areas of impasto, with some possible instances of loss to the tips in some minor isolated areas.
Ultraviolet light reveals some areas of fluorescence, however these appear in keeping with the artist's material and do not suggest retouching.
Housed behind glass in a think wooden frame and float-mounted against a dark linen mount. Unexamined out of frame.
