Condition
Original canvas. There is a ring of craquelure approx. 8in. in diameter near the centre of the lower edge; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition wtih some strong passages of impasto.
Under UV light there appears to be an isolated network of flecks of retouching near the centre of the horizon.
Held in a gilt composite frame.
