Condition

The work is in good condition overall, as is the canvas, which is clear and taut. There is evidence of minor wear and handling along the edges. There are also faint craquelures primarily on the top section of the mosque, but the paint layers are well preserved and stable. Examination under ultraviolet light shows a few minor spots of restoration, mainly located on the trees, the lower part of the mosque, at the center of the piece and the dome of the mosque. The colours contrasts are stronger in reality than the catalogue illustration. Framed.
