Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the board. The surface is free from craquelures and paint layers are well preserved. There is some evidence of light abrasion on the middle left, along with minute brown specks of media accretion on the background, but the painting is in good and sound condition. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals traces of minor scattered restoration spots, particularly on the fabric, figure's face and hands. This work is accompanied by the original frame of the artist.
