Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the canvas, which is clean and sound. There are indications of light wear and handling, along with pin-sized paint losses located in the middle. However, paint layers are well-preserved. Indications of stable and fine networks of craquelures is evident upon close observation, particularly on the darker paint. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals minor spots of retouching scattered across the painting. The colour contrasts are stronger in reality than the catalogue illustration. Framed.
