Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the board, which is clear, crack-free and warp-free. There is a delicate network of craquelures on the white (mother's veil, baby's arms and blanket) and red paint (the top half of the painting). Examination under ultraviolet light shows evidence of faint pin sized molds on the black paint (located near mother's face and clothing), but no restoration was found. Framed.
