Condition

Minor spots of paint loss around the edges of the folio and a small crease on the upper left of the image. In good condition overall, as viewed.

Catalogue Note

Stylistically the painting displays a Deccani origin but the distinctive tiered crowns clearly indicate the figures are from further south, possibly Thanjavur.
