Composed of 22 natural pearls measuring approximately 8.6 to 6.1 mm, spaced by 22 fluted emerald beads graduating from approximately 17.1 by 16.9 by 15.5 mm to 8.3 by 6.5 by 6.4 mm, further decorated with 44 ruby beads graduating from approximately 9.3 by 9.1 by 4.9 mm to 5.5 by 4.0 by 1.5 mm, completed by a clasp accented with small rose-cut diamonds, length 22 inches.
Condition
In good condition overall, with some evident wear to the colored stones commensurate with use. The natural pearls range from off-round to semi-baroque, with body colors from creamy white to silvery white. They have a medium luster, with some evident wrinkling, ringing, and pitting. The fluted emeralds are a light to medium bluish green, moderately to heavily included, from semi-transparent to translucent. The rubies are a deep, purplish red, lightly to moderately included. The diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality. Fitted with a safety chain. Accompanied by GIA report no. 5141705293 stating that the pearls are predominantly natural, saltwater.
