The hinged bracelet set with three cabochon sapphires measuring approximately 20.8 by 16.7 mm, 20.3 by 5.2 mm and 17.0 by 16.7 mm, accented by numerous cabochon rubies and numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 3.00 carats, gross weight approximately 73 dwts, internal circumference 5¾ inches, with French assay marks; the brooch of similar design set with five cabochon sapphires measuring approximately 17.0 by 12.6 mm to 14.0 by 10.5 mm, accented by numerous cabochon rubies and numerous round diamonds weighing approximately 1.25 carats, with French workshop and assay marks.
Condition
Both pieces in good condition, with some very minor patination to the gold that is not apparent when worn. BRACELET: The sapphires are a deep, slightly violetish blue, heavily included with some surface reaching fractures, and semi opaque (decorative in quality). The rubies are a deep, purple-red, moderately to heavily included with surface reaching fractures and cavities, and semi-translucent. The diamonds are approximately I-J color, VS-SI clarity. Both sides of the bracelet have hinges. Fits snuggly on a small wrist. BROOCH: The sapphires are a medium deep, slightly violetish blue, heavily included and semi-opaque. The rubies are a deep purple red, moderately to heavily included with surface reaching fractures and cavities, and translucent. The diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity. Maker's and assay marks on the pinstem.
