Centered by an oval-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 8.65 carats, flanked by two half moon-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 1.10 carats, size 6, signed Piranesi.
Condition
In good condition, with light surface scratching and minor nicking to the girdle, commensurate with wear. The sapphire is a medium deep slightly violetish blue, eye-clean with some slight zoning visible under direct light; more lively in color than depicted in the printed catalogue. The diamonds are approximately I-J color, SI clarity. Numbered 865.
