Designed as a pair of blossoms framed by four leaves, the first centered by a cushion-cut diamond weighing approximately 2.35 carats, framed by old European-cut diamonds, the petals set with round rubies, the other flowerhead reversely decorated, centered by a cushion-cut ruby framed by round rubies and old European-cut diamonds, the leaves set with calibré-cut emeralds, the stems set with square-cut diamonds, accented at the top by a pair of kite-shaped diamonds, mounted in platinum, pink and yellow gold.
Condition
In good condition overall, with some slight patination to the gold on the reverse commensurate with age. The large cushion-cut diamond is approximately K-L color, VS clarity. The remaining diamonds, weighing approximately 11.00 carats, are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. The rubies are a medium dark purplish red, lightly to moderately included. The emeralds are well matched for color, a light, slightly bluish green, and are lightly to moderately included. There is a scratch mark reading 1789 on the reverse.
