The pear-shaped Fancy Pink-Brown diamond weighing 26.96 carats, completed by an 18 karat rose gold and diamond mounting illustrated on sothebys.com only.
Condition
In very good condition. The 18 karat pink gold mounting is set with numerous round diamonds, approximately E-G color, VVS clarity. The pear-shaped diamond is set on a diagonal, the sculptural mounting culminating in a swirl under the stone. The enhancement image in the printed catalogue is very close to the actual color, but the image above the description in the printed catalogue depicts brownish highlights that are not apparent in the stone.
