- 18 karat gold, cultured pearl, sapphire, diamond, necklace
Set in the center with an oval cabochon sapphire weighing approximately 13.00 carats, framed and flanked by round diamonds, completed by a multi-strand torsade necklace composed of numerous small cultured pearls, the clasp set with round diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 3.90 carats, length 17 inches, signed Cartier, numbered 230359.
Condition
The sapphire is a richly saturated medium slightly violetish blue and lightly included, bearing a chip on the reverse. The surrounding round diamonds are all approximately F to G color, VS clarity. The seed pearls in the torsade all are a creamy white with soft pastel overtones. With some very slight discoloration to the center gold plaque on the reverse. Signed Cartier and numbered on the back of the female end of the clasp and signed with the workshop mark on the male end of the clasp. In very good condition overall.
