The carved agate cameo depicting the bust of Apollo Belvedere, within a gold ropetwist frame accented by white and orange enamel.

Condition

High polish background, matte finish to figure. Reverse of mounting is highly polished in spots, causing slight discoloration between bloomed surface and gold beneath. Obverse of mounting with enamel in very good condition. Additional enamel-work surrounding bezel. Cameo alone measuring approximately 1 5/8 by 1 1/4 inches.
