The carved agate cameo depicting the bust of Antinous Vertumnus, within a filigree gold openwork brooch mounting, the cameo signed on the reverse F. Tignani, Piazza di Spagna, AP 10.
Condition
Reverse signed F. Tignani Engraver Roma Piazza di Spagna A-10. Obverse has high polish finish on background and matte finish on figure. Overall condition of brooch very good. Pin catch later added and stamped 14K. The cameo alone measuring approximately 1 5/8 by 1 3/8 inches.
