The cushion-shaped ruby weighing 11.01 carats, to a mount composed of overlapping stylised leaves, size 521/2, signed G. Lenfant, Paris.
Condition
The revised estimate is 1'050'000-1'330'000 CHF / 1'100'000 - 1'400'000 US$.
Additionally accompanied by C. Dunaigre report no. CDC 1209037, stating that the Burmese ruby, with no indications of heating, is of 'vivid red' colour, consistent with those of rubies from the Mogok region.

Stamped with French assay mark and 750 for 18 carat gold, ruby mounted in three-coloured gold. Signed G. Lenfant Paris, maker's marks, engraved 11.01, referring to the weight of the ruby. Ruby with some typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, few scratches, nicks and abrasions on the surface, for further information, please refer to the reports. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
