Description
Designed as a carved bloodstone egg within a pierced and chased cover, the clasp enhanced with a rose diamond, to a green enameled frieze accented with the words Dieu vous bénit 'God bless you'.
Condition
Holy water holder carved in bloodstone chalcedony. Cracks to the stone and repaired, evidence of glue. The green enamelled frieze accented with the word Dieu vous bénit, 'god bless you'., loss to enamel.
