Condition
The canvas is unlined and loosely stretched. There appears to be a varnish. Paint loss is scattered throughout the work, particularly in the areas of impasto. The paint layer does appear stable overall. The canvas is buckling, particularly in the upper left and lower right quadrants. Under ultraviolet inspection, a minor area of in-painting is present to the left of the woman's left shoulder. Overall, this work is in very good condition.
