This painting on a piece of manufactured board is framed behind glass. It is well installed and should be hung in its current condition. It is painted all the way to the edges and the sides of the work are also painted. There are thin vertical cracks visible throughout the picture, but they are not disturbing nor are they an indication of instability. The cracks may well have existed since the painting was painted. The scraping and texture of the work are original. The condition is extremely good with no visible retouches. This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.
