Description

  • 28.9cm, 21.8cm
comprising: one plain circular plate engraved with Hebrew initials and inscription "Meat", the base with three angel touch marks and date 1755; another engraved with Haman on the donkey surrounded by Zodiac signs of Pisces and Hebrew inscriptions including the Hebrew signature "the work of my hands Itzik Katz", marked underneath with maker's mark IB Finck; the third later engraved with offerings of food and wine to a mourning couple within Hebrew inscription "this is the charitable gift of the men of the mismar of the Hevra Kadesha...", the base stamped with a tower mark incorporating 1765

first with one dent and numerous scratches; second good but with some staining; third good
