  • sapphire, diamond, platinum
Each suspending on an oscillating cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 7.75 and 6.27 carats respectively, within a frame set with graduated brilliant-cut diamonds altogether weighing approximately 9.30 carats, surmounted by a brilliant-cut diamond weighing 2.34 and 2.37 carats respectively, mounted in platinum.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to both Gübelin and AGL reports, two sapphires are natural, of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Also accompanied by a Jewelfolio, stating that these two sapphires are a very rare pair of well-matched sapphires possessing superior colour, uncommon clarity and well-proportioned cut. Please refer to the reports and Jewelfolio for details. In our opinion, both sapphires are of matching, intense velvety blue colour, eye clean and lively. Upon 10x loupe, no noticeable inclusions in both stones and there is only one tiny nick at table corner of one sapphire, not seen to naked eyes. Two round diamonds surmounted on the earstuds are F colour, VS2 clarity, with nice brilliance. Other smaller round and cushion diamonds are about F to G colours, VS clarity. Condition: Platinum earring mounts, in very good condition.
