CARVED JADEITE BUDDHA

The semi-translucent jadeite of apple green colour, carved as a Laughing Buddha holding a palm leaf fan suffused with emerald green colour, highlighted by bats, coins and ruyi of yellow and red tone, symbolising prosperity and longevity, completed by a carved wooden stand.

Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite "Buddha" is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite "Buddha" is semi-translucent, of celadon tone with splashes of bright green to the top and a small orange-yellow patch on the left. Upon close look, there are cloud inclusions, very common in natural jadeite carving. Accompanied by a wooden stand. Condition: Nice craftsmanship with good proportion, overall in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the U.S. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
