TWO JADEITE AND DIAMOND PENDANTS

The first jadeite pendant of light apple green colour and fine translucency suffused with deep emerald green streaks, carved as a coin atop a bat symbolising happiness (褔在眼前), to a brilliant-cut diamond-set hoop; the second jadeite pendant of similar colour and translucency, carved as a peapod, completed by a brilliant-cut diamond-set hoop, mounted in 18 karat white gold. Colour and Clarity: According to Jadeite Jade Testing Certificates, both jadeite pendants are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificates for details. In our opinion, both jadeite pendants are almost semi-transparent, of celadon tone with minor splashes of bright green, in particular to the "bat and coin" pendant. Upon transmitted illumination, both pendants show cloud inclusions, but not noticeable in normal lighting. Condition: These two pendants are offered without reserve. Karat white gold mounts, both in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the U.S. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
