Condition

Each of these canvases have been relined. The picture surfaces of both works are generally good with some flattening to the impasto. The left-facing figure has some minute losses to the upper left section. There is a nail that is exposed on the reverse that raises but does not pierce the canvas at the upper left corner. There is also a minor loss of 1/4 inch near the area of the figure's right wrist. Under UV, there are no apparent inpaints. The right-facing figure has some slight buckling at the top edge. Under UV, there are losses and inpaints scattered throughout the figure's robe.
