Oil on canvas. The surface is dirty and covered with a layer of slightly yellowed varnish. There is craquelure to the surface, most of it in the left side of the composition. There is also a possible slight pigment discoloration to the left side of the canvas, though this could be original. Under UV pigment fluoresces in the tress in the lower right corner, though varnish prevents a conclusive analysis. Held in a wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
