Condition
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, and taped to the overmount in two places along the upper edge. The reverse of all four edges are supported by a strip of restorer's paper. The sheet is slightly time-stained. There are a few creases in places, most prominently a vertical crease to the left of the female figure running from the upper to the lower edge of the sheet. There is a small tear to the upper left corner (visible in the catalogue illustration). Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the ink is slightly less red.
