The movement is running and the calendar is advancing at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service soon. Dial in very good condition. Case in good condittion. The strap of this watch contains endangered species; please see Important Notices for further information.

With an Extract from the Archives confirming sale on March 15th, 1991, and a Certificate of Origin dated March 28th, 1999.

Together with a spare case back, extra dial, setting pin, winding box and outer packaging. Also accompanied by a letter from Patek Philippe Italy confirming a dial change for this watch to a black Roman dial on September 8, 2011.

According to our research, this is the only known and documented pink gold Ref. 3940 with a black Roman dial.
