  • A GROUP OF THREE GOLD OPEN-FACED KEYLESS POCKET WATCHES CIRCA 1900
• all: manual winding nickel lever movement • the first: champagne color enamel dial, Arabic numerals, dot indexes • case back depicting an Orchid flower on a red translucent guilloché background, bezel similarly decorated •associated split-pearl and diamond-set brooch • the second: cuvette engraved • white enamel dial, Roman and Arabic numerals • case back depicting a cherub in a chariot drawn by butterflies, split-pearls to both bezels and bow • gold matching brooch • the third: gilt dial, guilloché centre, Arabic numeral • case back engraved with a lady reading in a landscape with latin moto " In Labore Quies", snap-on back

Condition

The first: movement made by LeCoultre & Cie running at the time of cataloguing but will need a service soon. Some oxidation to the bridges. Cuvette engraved " to Frances, from Albert 1-16-38". Dial in good condition. Case back with light scuffs to the enamel. Small area of enamel missing to the bezel. One split-pearl missing to the brooch. The second: movement made by J. Darier a Geneve is not working. Cuvette with monogram and engraved souvenir du 5 juillet 1885, Lyon. Dial in good condition. some small chips to the enamel case back. No pearls missing. The third: movement is running a the time of cataloguing, however it would benefit from a service soon. Cuvette with scratches. Dial with some dust and scuffs. Scuffs and small indentations to the case back. In Labore Quies = "in work is the true rest of life".
