- length 105 mm
• rectangular movement, a slide in the band activating the lid to open and revealing a singing bird in multi-colored plumage, turning on its axis and opening its beak and flapping its wings, the substantial rectangular bombé shaped box with painted on enamel scene to the oval lid depicting two shepherdesses in the country tending their flock, floral cartouches decoration, the sides engraved in geometrical pattern • accompanied by a winding key
Condition
Overall the box is in good condition, small surface scratches throughout, bird is working but the movement will need some attention as it is a little sticky and the bird does not always return back to its original position when closing.
