Panel is uncradled and beveled on all four sides. under a slightly dirty varnish. overall there is very good preservation of the paint surface with very good retention of detail in figure and objects and only slight thinnesses in background. under ultraviolet light, it is difficult to see through the thick old varnish. there may be some old retouches to background areas, but it is hard to tell. figure looks good. In a gilt wood frame with stylized foliate pattern. Some nicks to frame.
