Description

Condition

Both vases are in good overall condition with some glazing faults to the base and to the surface. They have been fiited for electricty but not drilled. Impossible to check the rim because of the ormolu mounts. A 5 cm long hairline crack starting from the rim and descending through the shoulder where it separates into two hairline cracks, one going through the body on 11 cm and the other one with some iron spots to the surface and a 7 cm long hairline crack starting from the foot. Old glue remains around its foot. BotH vases with underglaze-blue double-circle to the base. The ormolu mounts are in good overall condition.
