de forme rectangulaire, le couvercle plat agrémenté d'un fermoir central en cuivre ciselé, un tiroir ouvrant sur la façade du coffre dans sa partie inférieure, décoré en incrustations de nacres, laque hiramaki-e or sur fond noir, de cartouches lobées réservés sur fond de galuchat, sur le couvercle d'un paysage lacustre et arboré cerclé de nacre, sur le devant et les côtés de compositions florales, les bordures ornées de frises géométriques

Condition

The mother of pearl band between the abattant and the tray is missing on all the width of the front of the casket as well as some square parts to the frieze around the cover. Several flakes to the black lacquer consistent with age mostly to the corners, foot and cover's rim. Some expected age cracks with associated losses to the upper right front corner of the casket and along the cover's rim. Also some flakes to the black painting around the cover's rim.
