The first pair topped with eight oval rubellites, weighing approximately 22.00 carats, accented by round and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 2.80 carats, suspending two pear-shaped rubellite pendants, weighing approximately 20.00 carats, pendants detachable; the second pair topped with two cabochon pink tourmalines, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately .50 carat, suspending two pear-shaped amethyst pendants weighing approximately 45.50 carats, pendants detachable.
Condition
All pieces in good condition. The rubellites are a lively, slightly violetish-pink (slightly lighter than indicated by printed catalogue); lightly to moderately included with some chipping and surface scratching seen on close inspection. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS clarity overall. The medium-light slightly violetish pink tourmaline cabochons tourmalines are approximately 16.2 by 12.9 by 7.9 mm and 16.0 by 12.5 by 8.8 mm and are moderately to heavily included; one with cavity to the base. The amethysts are a medium-deep purple and eye-clean. The diamonds are of decorative quality.
