Condition

The terrestrial globe in fair restored condition; old repaired crack running from the lower part of the african continent through the indian sea and through southeast asia into New Guinea and two repaired cracks immediately south of the equator line running through the pacific ocean another long repaired crack running above the equator line running from the south coast of Mexico to the northern part of South America; large infilled break or hole in the antarctic circle next to the hour ring with inpainting; it appears some countries have a later inked border. The celestial globe with some small breaks and puncturing to lower hemisphere near the constellation nautica antlia pneumatica; large patch and infilling and inpainting to possible hole or break near the bottom hour ring. The stands in good condition; one stand with two age cracks over lines of construction with subsequent small tearing to paper on top of horizon ring; the other stand with some thin hairline cracks above lines of construction to hour ring; each lacking its pin to the brass fitting which holds the meridian ring.
