probably Meissen, finely painted on the cover, around the sides of the exterior and on the bottom with figures and distant buildings in various landscapes, the interior of the cover painted with figures before a river.

Please note that the porcelain has not been examined beneath the gilt-metal mounts. The cover may have previously been off its mount. Otherwise, generally in good condition.
