each modelled beside a scroll-molded shell-formed vase, comprising: two modelled as Autumn, two as Spring and one as Summer, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue.

Condition

Some occasional minor chips or losses to the applied flowers, branches or leaves. Spring (dark haired): Fingertips of her left hand are chipped; index finger of her right hand is chipped and there is some restoration to her right hand. Her left leg is broken off from her ankle down taking with it a small portion from the edge of her skirt, where there are some residues of overspray. A portion of the underside of her shawl is covered by overspray covering a break or chip; additionally the tip of her shawl at the back is chipped. Spring (with the puce hat): Generally in good condition. Autumn (with puce hat): The tip of the feather on his hat is chipped. There is a very minor small chip to his hat brim. The edge of his jacket is chipped. Also, the cuff of his jacket has a small chip. Autumn (with yellow hat): The back of his jacket is oversprayed, possibly covering a chip or crack. Summer: The lower edge of her apron is chipped away.
