In watercolor on enamel in a gilded copper circular locket frame with green eglomise mat; the reverse with plait of light brown hair. Some discolored varnish, and small losses to eglomise border.
Together with a Fine Watercolor and Seed Pearl Miniature Memorial Pin, Anonymous, American, dated 1793 in watercolor on enamel with seed pearls, hair, and gilt foil; the reverse with circular reserve of plaited brown hair with cut gold initials. Case refitted with later brooch pin. Diameter 2 in.; and a Rare Watercolor Miniature Mourning Locket, American, Late 18th / Early 19th Century, in watercolor on enamel, in a circular gilded copper locket frame; the reverse with a lock of light brown hair beneath a gilt paper urn bearing indecipherable inscription; Diameter 2 inches
