Worked in watercolor, pen and ink on velvet; inscribed in the glass, Painted by Almira Brown at Mrs. Saunders & Miss Beach's Academy, Dorchester. Stain and discoloration. In the original black glass mat and frame.

Stain and discoloration; backed with a piece of newspaper dated Friday morning, July 4, 1834.
