Description
- gilt-bronze, glass
- approx 126cm. high, 90cm. diameter; 4ft. 1¾in., 2ft. 11½in.
the blue glass corona hung with five pierced stylised bells above two graduated blue glass tiers, the central ring supporting beaded swags suspended by stylised stems and scrolling foliage supporting six scrolled candlearms the whole hung with faceted bead and needle shaped drops; formerly fitted and drilled for electricity
Condition
In overall good original condition. The gilt-bronze on the piece is generally slightly dirty and would benefit from a clean according to taste. Three needle shaped drops are missing from the upper corona but these can easily be replaced. One needle shaped drop on the third tier down has a break but this is not too noticable. There is some material residue left from the wiring which can easily be cleaned off. Some drops and beads possibly replaced.
