each painted with a young boy offering a fish to possibly the goddess of longevity, Magu, carrying an axe and a basket of lingzhi, all amidst a garden with willow trees and framed by a stylised foliate border, the rim with a Fitzhugh border, mounted on metal, together with a Chinese export blue and white tureen with cover and stand, Qing Dynasty, of oblong form and canted corners

Condition

One dish has been broken and restuck with associated areas of restoration. The other dish is in good condition with the exception of minor glaze firing imperfections such as iron spots, burst glaze bubbles etc. The tureen is in very good condition with the exception of a triangular loss (0.5 x 0.7cm) on each of the zoomorphic handles where the tip of the ear is lost with a clean break. The stand has a five-point star crack (longest branch measuring 6cm).
