the cast cut-cornered square bases, stems and sconces decorated in Régence style with husks, strapwork and classical profiles, the bases later engraved with coats-of-arms, supporters and coronets, 1713-1717 Paris charge and discharge marks

Condition

Hallmarks very clear and good; the bases of both are very slightly bent and would benefit from being reset, lacquered, nice heavy gauge, engraving and decoration crisp, overall good condition For further queries please contact the Silver Department on +44(0)207 293 5100

The arms are those of Durfort, Ducs de Duras accollée with those of Princes Rocco di Torrepadula, of Naples.
