modelled by Johann Peter Melchior as a milkmaid kneeling beside a cow attended by a farmer boy, wheel mark in underglaze-blue.

Condition

There are two very small, miniscule flat chips to the tip of the farmer boy's hat, which have been overpainted. There are very small chips to the edges of the bows on his pants. The tips of both horns of the cow have small chips. There is a small flat chip to the back of one of his ears. One handle of the bucket in front of the cow has been probably off and is restored. There are two approximate 1/2-inch flat chips and several very small chips to the edge of the base.
