When the yellow rice paddies are fragrant and thick, wine is fermented, and the purple threads of brasenia are boiled in porridge with fish. For ten years all traces have been hidden, no one has come calling, and in this sliver of autumn mountain reflections I sit and read. Jiyou year (1729), end of the eleventh month, after Gengyan's (Wang Hui, 1632-1717) copy of a small work by Tang Jieyuan (Tang Yin, 1470-1532), by request, learned second elder brother Zhongwei, guest at Shimen Lake, Chen Shu.
