- Papers of both scrolls bear a tanning tone due to age.
- Several restorations can be found on the painting with the largest one measuring 5 x 0.4 cm.
- Two small groups of foxing spots, one at the beginning and one at the middle of the painting scroll.
- Several light creases throughout the painting scroll.
- Several restorations can also be found on the calligraphy with the largest one measuring 3.5 x 0.5 cm at the beginning of the scroll.
