Artist's inscriptions:
(1) You do not care that the mouse has overturned the basin, and lay in the shade of the flowers on the rock. What a sin!
(2) After deer pass through the quiet path, the moss remains undisturbed.
(3) A Wu buffalo with its calf, and shading willows on the side.
(4) A single whistle of the wind freezes ten thousand valleys.
(5) Amidst an abundant growth of grass, an old rabbit waits for the new moon. But fearing to be discovered, it moves through three caves every night.
(6) Ride the wind straight to the heavens. All life on earth yearns for nourishing rain.
(7) Those who know how to care for life are like shepherds.
