Artist's Inscription:
Through the ten thousand valleys trees stack to the sky, on a thousand mountains the cuckoo calls. In the mountains the night is all rain, and the tips of trees fill the streams. Women bring their cloth, and men of Ba state argue over taro fields. Old man Wen taught to overturn what was transmitted and not to rely on what came before. Wang Shihong.
